EMS Career Exploring lets you dive into the exciting world of first responders, where you’ll learn real skills, work alongside professionals, and see what it’s like to be part of a life-saving team.  

Echo Hose Training Center Instructors will provide training. Explorers will also have the opportunity to work alongside Paramedics in training for hands-on experiences.

Students between the ages of 14-20 with a willingness to learn in an environment focused on professionalism and safety. All students will be expected to maintain the highest levels of safety protocols for the protection of themselves, their instructors and fellow Explorers.

There is a non-refundable registration fee of  $75.00 per Explorer per year payable on their first meeting and on their anniversary. This fee covers BSA Membership dues as well as materials and supplies used by the student for their training.
In addition, students who have completed Basic First Aid Training will have the opportunity to work alongside EMS providers at community events. A uniform shirt will be required and may incur a nominal cost.
